Emergency Closing Codes

Parents and Staff...

If a school or all schools are dismissed early because of inclement weather, excessive heat, or unexpected cirucmstances, teachers and support staff may be dismissed 30 minutes after the last bus has left the school grounds. Administrators are expected to remain at the school until notified that all of their students have been delivered home.

No one is to report to work because the conditions or circumstances are too dangerous and/or unsafe. You will not be required to take vacation or personal leave.

  • Custodians
Report two (2) hours late or, at your discretion, when conditions are safe. You will not be required to take vacation or personal leave for the first two (2) hours, but you will have to take vacation or personal leave for any hours beyond them. If you are sick, you may ask to take sick leave.
