Due to a conflict in Sammy's schedule as an athlete, he was unable to be recognized until the most recent Pulaski County Public School Board's meeting as the December Senior of the Month
Pulaski County Public Schools and Pulaski County High School are proud to announce Sammy Carrasco-Segura as Senior of the Month for December. Sammy is an outstanding young man whose never-ending smile brightens every hallway at PCHS. A gifted athlete, he consistently demonstrates strong sportsmanship and an unwavering work ethic—never giving up, no matter how challenging the moment, whether on the field or in the classroom.
Known for his impeccable manners and genuine respect for others, Sammy is a positive role model for both his peers and the adults around him. His great sense of humor and optimistic attitude make every conversation with him uplifting. He leads by example, often using positive peer influence to help others make good choices.
Sammy is also well-known for having the “best hair” in the senior class—reflective of his Southern California–inspired surfer style. Beyond that, he is deeply dedicated to his family and excited about the opportunities that lie ahead after graduation.
