Pulaski County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 due to the large number of students and staff who’ve been recently diagnosed with the flu or respiratory illnesses. This is a Code 1 closure and will not be a virtual day. We hope that all of our students and families have a healthy and happy Thanksgiving break.

Transportation announcement: Bus 82 serving Pulaski County Middle School will be running 30 to 45 minutes late. Bus 82's first load will be riding bus 84 and bus 82's second load will ride bus 23. We apologize for this delay.

SOL Growth Testing for Reading and Math for all students will be on December 8th and 9th. Reading will be on the 8th and math will be on the 9th

Pulaski County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, Employee Code 1, due to forecasted freezing rain this morning. This is not a virtual day. Thank you.

Pulaski County Public Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay schedule for Tuesday, November 15, 2022 due to forecasted winter weather that will begin at daybreak. We will assess conditions tomorrow morning to determine if the the delay needs to be changed to a closing code. Thank you.

Due to an incident in the town of Pulaski, we have notified Pulaski Elementary School, Critzer Elementary School, Dublin Elementary School, Pulaski County Middle School, Pulaski County High School, and the School Board Office to shelter in place until the situation is resolved. This is just a precautionary measure and there are no actual issues inside any Pulaski County Public Schools buildings.

A huge shoutout to Dr. Siers, Superintendent from the cafeteria staff at Pulaski County Middle School. Dr. Siers stopped by for a visit this morning, stepped right up to help prep breakfast pizza for delivery to the students.

Transportation Announcement: Bus 81 students from Critzer Elementary and Pulaski County Middle School that live on Dora Highway and Count Pulaski Drive will be approximately 25 to 30 minutes late this afternoon.

Updates to Basketball and Wrestling as of 9-13-22: Girls Basketball Tryouts will be October 17th & 18th from 3;30 to 5:00. There has been a change in the Boys Basketball Tryouts. They will now be on October 19th & 20th from 5:00 to 7:00. Wrestling Practice will begin on Monday, October 24th 3:30 to 5:30. You must sign-up online and have a physical on file by October 12th to try out.

PCMS Winter Sports Tryouts: BASKETBALL TRYOUTS will be on Monday, October 17th and Tuesday October 18th the Girls will Tryout 3:30 to 5:00 and the Boys Tryouts will be 5:00 to 7:00. WRESTLING TRYOUTS START OCTOBER, 24 - 3:30 5:30 IN THE AUXILIARY GYM -You Must Have A VHSL PHYSICAL on File to try out.

Transportation Announcement- Pulaski County Middle School students who ride the second load of bus 82 will be running 15-20 minutes late in arriving home this afternoon.

Transportation announcement- Bus 45, which serves Pulaski Elementary, Critzer Elementary, and Pulaski County Middle Schools has broken down. A substitute bus will be sent to complete its routes but may be running as much as an hour behind schedule.

State Growth Assessment Testing Dates for Grades 6-8: Reading Test Tuesday, August 23rd and Math Test Tuesday, August 30th. Testing begins at 9:00 am.

The Pulaski County Dance Team will be holding auditions Monday, August 22, in the middle school auxiliary gym. Students in grades 6-8 will need to attend from 3:30-4:15 and grade 9-12 from 4:15-5:00. Dancers do not need any prior experience to audition, but do need a VHSL physical on file to participate.
