The Pulaski County High School Homecoming Parade is one week from today! Please be aware of the following information concerning the parade. Please see the attached map at the bottom.
Spectators: The parade will run through the Town of Dublin parade route.
Participators: Please read through the following information about pick up and drop off.
Please refer to the map attached for DROP OFF information. The blue line indicates the parent route, with the red point being the drop off point. The yellow line is for the route for parade entries and the purple line is where parade line up will be, based on the entry number. Numbers will be released towards the end of the week.
DROP OFF
All elementary students participating in school or rec league floats should be dropped off at the old Dublin Middle School. PCPS volunteers and Parks and Recreation will be waiting to escort students to their groups. Any group who has multiple adults involved in their float should park in the Lions Club field and carpool to DMS. There will be very limited parking at DMS.
Our arrival times are as follows:
Non-sports PCHS 5:00PM (buses will leave PCHS at 4:45)
PCMS 5:20PM (buses will leave PCHS at 5:00)
Elementary 5:30PM
Rec Teams 5:30PM
PCHS Athletics 5:40PM (buses will leave PCHS at 5:20)
All middle and high school students and any adult walking/riding on a float should park/be dropped off at PCHS to be bussed to the old Dublin Middle School. Homecoming court candidates will meet their driver at PCHS and ride over with that driver or ride the bus over. Again, there will not be parking for these groups at DMS.
PICK UP
At the end of the parade route, all elementary groups, (schools and rec teams), will drive up Ziegler Avenue to Dublin Elementary School. To prevent congestion, all parents/guardians should park at the Dublin Lions Club (from Bagging Plant Road) and walk across the road to pick up their student. NO PARENT SHOULD BE PARKING AT THE END OF THE PARADE ROUTE OR AT DES TO PICK UP THEIR STUDENT.
All middle and high school students will be bussed from Dublin Church of God to PCHS to be picked up there. There will be no parking at DCOG for pick up.
