By unanimous vote Tuesday, June 13, the Pulaski County School Board passed an official resolution recognizing Mr. Jeff McCoy and his many years of service with the school system.
The resolution honored McCoy by naming the PCHS Little Theatre the Jeff McCoy Theatre.

Resolution of the Pulaski County School Board Recognizing and Honoring the Career of Jeffrey McCoy
WHEREAS, Jeffrey Lynn McCoy is retiring on June 30, 2023; and
WHEREAS, Jeffrey was a career educator for Pulaski County Public Schools having worked as an elementary classroom teacher, school counselor, and theater arts instructor for 44 years; and,
WHEREAS, Jeffrey has entertained the Pulaski County community with hundreds of dramatic productions featuring thousands of hours of student performances; and,
WHEREAS, Jeffrey has achieved, with three, more team state championships than any other coach or sponsor in the history of Pulaski County High School: and,
WHEREAS, the Pulaski County School Board joins Jeffrey’s many friends and family in celebrating his achievements and wishes to honor his numerous contributions on behalf of Pulaski County’s fine arts programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Pulaski County School Board in grateful appreciation of the life and work of Jeffry Lynn McCoy and his innumerable positive contributions that improved educational experiences for generations of Pulaski County students does hereby state that the theater on the campus of Pulaski County High School shall now and forever be named the “Jeff McCoy Theater” so that Jeffrey’s name will always hereafter be known to every student of Pulaski County Public Schools and associated with their pursuit of knowledge and appreciation of artistic excellence.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution be spread on the minutes of the Pulaski County School Board as testament to the life and contributions of Jeffrey L. McCoy. Accepted this 13th day of June, 2023.
