2024 Spelling Bee

Pulaski County Public Schools held their annual Spelling Bee Tuesday, February 13, at the Pulaski County Middle School Auditorium. Eight students began the opening round of competition, but only one emerged as the champion.

Students from each elementary school and the middle school earned the right to compete in the competition by first winning their individual school spelling bee. Those winners include (winner followed by runner up) Britton Ramsey and Brayden Hale from Critzer Elementary; Avery Thompson and Kellin Buron from Dublin Elementary; Jakoby Jarrells and Austin Thomas from Pulaski Elementary; Kendal Tolar and Emma Hubble from Riverlawn Elementary; Levi Juran and Slade Steiner from Snowville Elementary; sixth-graders Adelaide Quesenberry and Chloe Brannock from PCMS; seventh-graders Nina Bucey-Card and Zander Sargent from PCMS; and eighth-graders Isaiah Kilbourne and Eli Shaffer from PCMS.

After several rounds, the crowd eventually came down to two finalists, Nina Bucey-Card and Isaiah Kilbourne, from Pulaski County Middle School. After several additional rounds, Nina Bucey-Card won the title of 2024 PCPS Spelling Bee Champion.
