The Pulaski County School Board approved the Policy for the Treatment of All Students at its meeting on August 10, 2021. The policy is consistent with federal and Virginia law and the Virginia Department of Education's model policies for the treatment of transgender students . The purpose of this policy is to foster an educational environment that is safe, welcoming, and free from discrimination and harassment for all students, regardless of their gender, gender identity, or gender expression.
