PCPS Rebranding

Dear PCPS Parents, Students, & Community Stakeholders,

Anyone paying attention would agree that Pulaski County Public Schools has been undergoing a major positive transformation over the past few years.  Our accomplishments include the opening of Pulaski County Middle School, implementation of a one-to-one technology device distribution program, increasing career & technical education course offerings, development of a research-based model for effective instruction,  incorporation of a comprehensive career exploration club program at each elementary school,  completing a major technology upgrade in each classroom, and leading Southwest Virginia with an equity initiative that will strive to create a positive educational experience for every student.

We are now proud to add to our list the development of the Pulaski County Schools smartphone app that is available for free download with the App Store and on Google Play.  The PCVA app will allow us to better communicate with all of our stakeholders through live feed announcements, easily accessible school calendars, up-to-date lunch menus, and quick access to all of our schools and school division web-pages.  The app is scheduled to go live on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

In order to better reflect the school division that we have become, Pulaski  County Public Schools has re-branded its logo and motto to the one seen here.  PCPS is now the "Pathway to a Brighter Tomorrow".   Our schools are where each child is valued and will achieve personalized success.  Increasing positive experiences for our students will translate to happier families today and  create future parents of families that thrive in and out of school.  We are proud of how far we've come in a short time and incredibly excited about where our students are going to lead us in their journey that begins tomorrow.  Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year!

Sincerely,

Dr. Kevin W. Siers, Superintendent
