Dublin Elementary School is proud to recognize their selections for 2022 Employee of the Year and Teacher of the Year.
The 2022 Employee of the Year is Mrs. Crystal May. Mrs. May is the bookkeeper at Dublin Elementary. She does her job with humility, efficiency, and a great sense of humor. Many of our students get a positive start to their day, a break, or a positive end to their day by visiting "Miss Crystal." Students, faculty, and staff alike all benefit from her willingness to help, even when the task at hand may not fall under her job as a bookkeeper, and her willingness to laugh. Even in our more challenging moments this school year, Mrs. May has been a light to help us through. We are so proud to have Mrs. Crystal May represent Dublin Elementary as our Employee-of-the-Year!
The 2022 Teacher of the Year is Ms. Moriah Hinton. Ms. Hinton teaches fifth grade at Dublin Elementary. Since the start of her career, Ms. Hinton has shown an innate talent for successfully implementing instructional strategies while also creating a classroom of love and respect. She shows grace and understanding with her students, even when they may exhibit more challenging behaviors, to fully understand and acknowledge their feelings while also encouraging them to meet her high expectations. Even on the toughest of days, Ms. Hinton is quick to smile and offer a word of encouragement. She exemplifies all of the qualities one would want in a Teacher of the Year, and we are proud she represents Dublin Elementary!
