Pulaski County Cougar baseball player Andrew Newberry is one of 24 Class 3 baseball players that have been recognized as a member of the 2A All-State Baseball Team.

Newberry, who is a graduate with the PCHS Class of 2025, was selected as the second team third baseman. He is the only Cougar recognized on the list.Newberry

The first team consists of seniors Landon Turman (P/Abingdon), Brady Hoover (P/Spotswood), Matthew Gentry (P/New Kent), Josiah Crider (C/Broadway), Michael Hetzel (1B/New Kent), Andrew O'Brien (2B/Spotswood), Lantz Williams (3B/Grafton), Jett Humphreys (SS/Abingdon), Luk Wilz (OF/Grafton), and Cam Via (DH/Fluvanna County). Also on the first team are junior Jackson Plogger (OF/Broadway) and sophomore Camden Spangler (OF/Northside).

The second team includes seniors Newberry, JJ Hand (C/Brentville District), Izaiah Matthews (1B/Skyline), Carter Perkins (2B/Hidden Valley), Parker Hildebrand (SS/William Monroe), Jayden Farley (OF/Tabb), and Jayden Hoy (OF/Fluvanna County). Also on the list are juniors Harrison Skinner (P/Kettle Run), Evan Taylor (P/William Monroe), Brendan Taylor (OF/Kettle Run), Barrett Lonker (DH/Lord Botetourt), and sophomore Camden Spangler (P/Northside).

The Class 3 Baseball Player of the Year is Jett Humphreys of Abingdon. The Class 3 Coach of the Year is Coach Marcus Davis of Spotswood.
