Two Pulaski County standouts earned all-region honors as the 2026 All-Region 3D girls basketball team was announced following a selection meeting Monday at Mac and Bob’s.
Freshman Cha Cha Ratcliff-Calfee led the way for the Cougars, earning a spot on the All-Region 3D first team. Joining her in the postseason honors was junior Palyn Sweet, who was named to the all-region second team. 
Abingdon swept the top individual awards, with senior Annsley Trivette named Player of the Year and Jimmy Brown selected as Coach of the Year. Trivette was also a first-team selection.
The first team was rounded out by Ailynn Macualey (junior, Staunton River), Maggie Hoover (junior, Lord Botetourt), Payton Chewning (senior, Staunton River), Lauren Baker (sophomore, Abingdon), Kaitlyn Dalton (freshman, Magna Vista) and Egypt Phillips (senior, Bassett).
