Sixteen Pulaski County High School student-athletes have earned spots on the Virginia High School League All-Region 3D teams for their performances during the spring sports season, school officials announced Sunday.

The boys soccer program led the charge with six total selections, including three players named to the All-Region first team. Senior forward Sammy Carrasco, junior midfielder Mason Covey, and junior defender Trent Hager all captured first-team honors.

The Cougars also landed junior midfielder Alex Flores and senior defender Beckham Ingram on the All-Region second team, while senior goalkeeper Kasch Morrell received an honorable mention.

In baseball, sophomore second baseman Cade Souder and junior outfielder Keleb Sartin earned first-team accolades. Junior outfielder Seth Carter was named to the All-region Second team.

The girls soccer team was represented by three honorable mentions: senior midfielder Leona Reed, sophomore defender Jagger Davis, and junior goalkeeper Maia Lawrence.

softball1The newly released softball accolades featured four senior selections for the Cougars. Outfielder Carley Hight earned a first-team nod, while shortstop Victoria Hale and designated player Addison Puckett landed on the second team. Pitcher Sophia Hall received an honorable mention.
