It was no contest for the Pulaski County Middle School volleyball team as the Cougar spikers rolled past Floyd 25-3, 25-5 to raise its record to 4-0 on the season.

The Cougars jumped out to an 11-2 lead and never looked back. Lainie Cobbs turned in an 11-for-11 performance from behind the service line, while Jovi Perdue and Comley Meyer were both 5-for-5. Riley Shepardson tallied two hits and Meyer added one. Cobbs had three assists and two tips. Shepardson and Meyer were the top passers. pcms 3

Chloe Thompson led the Cougars from the service line in set two going 9- for-10. Addie Phillips finished 5-for-5 and Meyer 4-for-5. Meyer, Thompson, Kiylee Taylor, and Abby Bishop each collected one hit for the Cougars and Cobbs had three assists and a tip. Perdue, Bishop, and Taylor were the top passers.

PCMS claimed the B game with a 25-16 victory. Maria Sanchez led the way behind the service line, going 7-for-8. Vivian Hash was 4-for-4, and Sophia Exconde was 3-for-3. McKenzie Robinson was the team’s top passer.
