The Pulaski County Middle School volleyball team made it 2-0 as they knocked off Radford for the second time this season. The Cougar spikers won 25-9, 25-13.

Jovi Perdue led the Cougars from behind the service line in the first contest, going 10-for-10. Lainie Cobbs was 8-for-8, and Comley Meyer finished 4-for-4. Riley Shepardson collected four hits to lead the Cougars’ offensive attack. Comley Meyer chipped in three, Vivian Hash two, and Abby Bishop one. Bishop added five tips, Cobbs had two, and Chloe Thompson and Hash each added one. The top passers were Perdue and Meyer. Cobbs, and Addie Phillips teamed for eight assists.

In the second set, Bishop was 10-for-10 from the service line, Kiylee Taylor was 4-for-4, and Meyer, Cobbs, Thompson and Hash were all 2-for-2. Perdue led the way with three hits, Meyer, Shepardson, Bishop, and Sophia Exconde each recorded one. Cobbs, Hash, and Phillips combined for five assists. Perdue and Hash were the top passers.

The Cougars will host Blacksburg on Monday when the eighth graders will be honored.
