Good evening, PCHS families: Please note the upcoming change to the PCHS schedule for the purpose of SOL testing. On December 9th and 10th, only students scheduled to participate in SOL testing will attend. All other students will be provided asynchronous opportunities on these days. Again, only students scheduled to test on December 9th and 10th will attend in person. Your student will be given further information from their course-specific teachers and/or counselors regarding the testing schedule. On Thursday, December 9th, only students required to take a Social Studies or Science SOL test will attend in person. On Friday, December 10th, only students required to take an English or Math SOL test will attend in person. This will provide a more conducive testing environment for your student, as well as remediation opportunities prior to the test session. Please call your student's counselor or an administrator with any questions about the testing schedule. Thanks so much for your help in providing a successful test session for our students!

💥💥Congratulations to the PCHS Theatre Arts Department for being Runner Up at the Division 4-D One Act Festival on Saturday!!! They received rave reviews and were only five points behind two time defending State Champion Jefferson Forest. More importantly, they made some great friendships with the students from JF. Unfortunately, only the top school moves on to state in December. Also congratulations to Jordan English (a Freshman) who was named Best Actor🎭 of the day!

Transportation Announcement: Bus 6 which serves PCHS and PCMS will not run this afternoon or tomorrow (Friday) afternoon. Bus 47 will double back and run the route for PCHS and bus 90 will double back and run the route for PCMS. Both routes will be approximately 90 minutes late.

Pulaski County Public Schools and Pulaski County High School are pleased to announce Arushi Arora as Senior of the Month for November 2021. Arushi is the daughter of Amit and Monika Arora of Dublin. Arushi’s nominator stated that she greets front office staff every morning with a hello and a smile. She is eager to help out where needed and always goes about her work with a positive attitude. Arushi extends that positivity to her classmates. She has been witnessed striking up a friendly conversation with students she doesn’t know. Academically, she is a strong student and can be seen studying in the front office in between her front office aide assignments. Arushi exemplifies Cougar Pride! Upon graduation, Arushi plans to attend a four year university majoring in pre-med or biology. Arushi serves in many clubs holding a leadership role in all of them. Currently she is reporter for HOSA and Red Cross, as well as parliamentarian for the National Honor Society. Arushi is also captain of the Science MACC team. In her free time, Arushi enjoys reading, hanging out with friends and in warmer weather enjoys badminton. Congratulations Arushi!!
