Transportation Announcement: Bus 6 which serves PCHS and PCMS will not run this afternoon or tomorrow (Friday) afternoon. Bus 47 will double back and run the route for PCHS and bus 90 will double back and run the route for PCMS. Both routes will be approximately 90 minutes late.
Pulaski County Public Schools and Pulaski County High School are pleased to announce Arushi Arora as Senior of the Month for November 2021. Arushi is the daughter of Amit and Monika Arora of Dublin. Arushi’s nominator stated that she greets front office staff every morning with a hello and a smile. She is eager to help out where needed and always goes about her work with a positive attitude. Arushi extends that positivity to her classmates. She has been witnessed striking up a friendly conversation with students she doesn’t know. Academically, she is a strong student and can be seen studying in the front office in between her front office aide assignments. Arushi exemplifies Cougar Pride!
Upon graduation, Arushi plans to attend a four year university majoring in pre-med or biology. Arushi serves in many clubs holding a leadership role in all of them. Currently she is reporter for HOSA and Red Cross, as well as parliamentarian for the National Honor Society. Arushi is also captain of the Science MACC team.
In her free time, Arushi enjoys reading, hanging out with friends and in warmer weather enjoys badminton. Congratulations Arushi!!

📌Registration is now open for Pulaski County Schools R7VA Virtual School for the second semester of the 2021-22 school year. All students, including those currently enrolled in virtual learning, are required to register if they want to attend school online during the second semester. To register, please go to www.pcva.us and scroll down below the pictures on that webpage. You will see a link labeled "Semester 2 Virtual Registration" under the heading "News." Please click on that link and enter the requested information in the forms that follow. Registration will close on November 23, 2021. Second semester virtual classes will begin on January 4, 2022.
💥💥Congratulations to the PCHS Theatre Arts Department for coming in Second Place at the Sectionals in Blacksburg on Saturday. Their original show American Tall Tales and Legends was a huge hit with the other schools. It will move on to Regional Competition on November 22 at Jefferson Forest High School in Bedford on Saturday November 20.
📣Special shout outs to Jordan English and Dante Holmes for Honorable Mention acting awards.
Be sure to come out Friday night to show your appreciation for our local Veterans and to support our Cougar football team as they take on Christiansburg High School. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
📌PCPS will be recognizing our Veterans at our last home 🏈 football game tomorrow night (Friday 11/05/21). Veterans will be allowed into the game free of charge with a valid military ID (military ID, veteran’s ID card, or DD 214). 💥💥 The PCHS Advanced Concert Choir will also be performing a medley of songs to honor all Veterans in attendance. We look forward to recognizing these heroes!
