Miss Chrisley’s class tapped into their growth mindset by allowing themselves to learn how to juggle. Despite the many falls and mess ups… students learned to embrace failure and use as a tool to learn something new!
Today Mrs. Heath's Earth Science students performed a density stacking lab to compare the densities of five different liquids. 🧪🧪👇
👉👉Mrs. Gill and Ms. Barszcz discussed with their students having a growth mindset versus a fixed mindset. The students were then challenged to make paper cranes. Most students had a fixed mindset that they wouldn't be able to accomplish this task. Later they actually realized they had a growth mindset when they were able to make the cranes after all!
It's National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day!! At PCHS we are fortunate enough to have two SRO's, Josh Bowden and Brian Owen -- or as we know them at PCHS 15 and 40-- who keep us safe every day! Thank you so much for all you do for us and our students!

Pulaski County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 due to the large number of students and staff who’ve been recently diagnosed with the flu or respiratory illnesses. This is a Code 1 closure and will not be a virtual day. We hope that all of our students and families have a healthy and happy Thanksgiving break.

PCHS Tutoring for the afternoon is cancelled. We are awaiting more information regarding after school activities, but at this time we are defaulting to all students leaving upon dismissal time and that activities are canceled. Once we know more we will update asap.
Special announcement: Pulaski County High School will be dismissing at 11:15 AM due to a water line break. Buses will be departing the high school shortly after 11:15. This early dismissal only affects Pulaski County High School. We appreciate your patience and understanding for this unexpected dismissal.
